Joss Stone

On 21 June 2026 Joss Stone brings her blend of soul, R&B and organic band sound to the Metropol Theater Bremen. The British singer first rose to prominence in the early 2000s with The Soul Sessions (2003), an album of selected cover versions from the soul canon. With Mind Body & Soul (2004) and Introducing Joss Stone (2007) she sharpened her own songwriting and opened up to pop and hip‑hop influences. This was followed by Colour Me Free! (2009) and Water for Your Soul (2015), on which funk and reggae elements take on a greater role. Together with Dave Stewart she released LP1 (2011) and Never Forget My Love (2022); in the meantime she was also part of the SuperHeavy project.

Live, Joss Stone alternates between her own songs and classics, places ballads alongside groovier numbers, and gives the band space. In Bremen she will guide listeners through different phases of her repertoire—from early retro‑soul to her more recent work—with a setlist that combines dynamism and warmth and emphasizes intimacy with the audience.
