Info
On July 16, 2026, Feu! Chatterton will take up residence at the Mas des Escaravatiers in Puget‑sur‑Argens. Formed in Paris in 2011, the band brings together the voice and lyrics of Arthur Teboul, Antoine Wilson on bass, Clément Doumic and Sébastien Wolf on guitars and keyboards, and Raphaël de Pressigny on drums. Their name signals an alliance between the word and the impulse, and that is precisely what they defend on stage: French rock with clear diction, punctuated by pop flashes and electronic textures.
The set emphasizes finely crafted lyrics and precise sound design, driven by a supple rhythm section and guitars that alternate between tension and chiaroscuro. The songs that have marked their trajectory are never far away — from "La Mort dans la pinède" to "Le Malinche", "Boeing" or "Fou à lier", including "Souvenirs", "L’Oiseau" and "Ginger". You can hear discreet lineages — Bashung, Barbara, Gainsbourg — without any sense of nostalgia, serving a contemporary songwriting in which musical intensity meets the power of imagery.
