Hatsune Miku - Miku Expo 2026 Europe

Hatsune Miku brings MIKU EXPO 2026 EUROPE to Berlin: on 17 November 2026 the virtual singer will appear at the Velodrom. On stage she will be presented as a 3D projection, accompanied live by musicians on site — a setup that transfers the digital origins of her songs into a concert format.

Miku was developed in 2007 in Sapporo by Crypton Future Media: a Vocaloid voice built from recordings of voice actress Saki Fujita, and a character designed to look like a 16-year-old with turquoise hair, created by illustrator KEI. Around this voice a global community of producers has formed, creating tracks that span J‑Pop, electro-pop, dance, as well as rock and EDM variants, often drawing on anime aesthetics and otaku cultures.

From early uploads on Japanese video platforms a broad repertoire of originals, remixes and collaborations has emerged. In the live context, Miku becomes the animated front figure at the center of the show, while the band provides the physical foundation. The concert in Berlin thus links community-driven production and the onstage experience in a single evening.
