Info

On March 6, 2026, Sloan bring A Tour De Force to The Bronson in Ottawa. Since the early 90s, Chris Murphy, Jay Ferguson, Patrick Pentland and Andrew Scott have shaped a Canadian power‑pop identity rooted in melodic guitars, direct choruses and a shared front line: each member writes and sings. From the fuzzed edges of Smeared (1992) to the focused punch of Twice Removed (1994), One Chord to Another (1996) and Navy Blues (1998), the band moves naturally between bright pop, tougher rock and mid‑tempo detours without breaking the thread. Later albums — Never Hear the End of It, Commonwealth, 12 and Steady — extend that formula with concise hooks, longer suites and discreet nods to 60s/70s rock.

On stage, Sloan lean into harmonies, guitar interplay and a catalogue that spans three decades. Expect a set that jumps across eras, trades voices from song to song and shows the group’s collective writing in real time. Four songwriters, one band, and a repertoire that holds up live — a straightforward night of songs built to land in the room.
