Diana Krall

Diana Krall takes the stage at Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton on April 21, 2026. A Canadian pianist and singer shaped by early training, Berklee studies and guidance from bassist Ray Brown, she centers her music on the piano–voice dialogue and the jazz trio tradition. Her concerts move through the Great American Songbook, swing standards and bossa nova shades, alongside originals co-written over the years. The repertoire often draws from All for You, Love Scenes, When I Look in Your Eyes, The Look of Love and Turn Up the Quiet, through to This Dream of You, with room for intimate ballads as much as for tight, unhurried grooves. On stage, Krall plays with a light touch, letting harmonies breathe and rhythms lean, trading lines with guitar and bass, and reshaping familiar melodies with small dynamic shifts and space. Collaborations with Tony Bennett and Elvis Costello have marked her path, but the focus stays on that low grain of voice, the left hand’s pulse and a taste for understated swing.
