Stacey Kent
Stacey Kent is an American jazz singer whose career has been built over some fifteen albums and a performing presence that has taken her to more than 55 countries. Backed by a Grammy nomination, over two million albums sold and several international hits, she has established herself as one of the most recognized interpreters of her generation. In France she left a lasting impression with Breakfast on the Morning Tram in 2007, and later with Raconte-moi, which in 2010 became the second best-selling francophone album in the world. Her trajectory lies at the crossroads of the Great American Songbook, French chanson and Brazilian music, which occupy an increasingly important place in her repertoire. Stacey Kent has also developed a more intimate world through her collaboration with composer Jim Tomlinson and lyricists such as Kazuo Ishiguro, giving rise to original songs that enrich her discography. Nuanced, precise and endowed with a rare sense of interpretation, she continues her path with a new album, A Time for Love, scheduled for spring 2026 on the Naïve label.
