Tokio Hotel

Tokio Hotel will return to the Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg on 1 November 2026. Bill Kaulitz (vocals) and Tom Kaulitz (guitar), accompanied by Georg Listing (bass) and Gustav Schäfer (drums), bring the band’s two faces to the stage in this set: the early pop-rock/alternative phase and the later electronic direction. Since Schrei and Zimmer 483, the sound has shifted via Humanoid toward the pop-electronic textures of Kings of Suburbia, Dream Machine and most recently 2001. Live, the four condense these strands into a compact dramatic arc.

Clearly structured melodies, synthetic layers, driving beats and guitars that punctuate rather than dominate. Bill’s voice is at the centre, Tom’s arrangements link synths and riffs, while Georg and Gustav maintain a tight rhythmic foundation. Without indulging in mere nostalgia, the band draws on its own archive and places it alongside more recent productions. The result is a set that traces their development from Magdeburg to Los Angeles, performed with directness and precision and tailored to the large hall of the Barclaycard Arena.
