Info

On March 19, 2026 at La Boule Noire, Céline Dessberg presents a project at the crossroads of worlds. A singer, songwriter and harpist of Franco-Mongolian origin, she grew up between France and the Buddhist and pastoral traditions of Mongolia. From that background comes a repertoire where echoes of Chet Baker and the pop curiosity of David Byrne meet the melodies of the steppes. Her signature lies in the yatga, the Mongolian harp she sets in dialogue with guitar and piano, producing an intimate, melodic and contemporary sound.

On stage, Céline moves between songs sung in Mongolian, French and English, weaving stories that travel from one continent to another. After a period of writing and recording in the United States in the summer of 2024, she released the EP Hödöö and a 45-rpm single in 2025, the vibrant material for this concert. She was also seen opening for Thee Sacred Souls at La Cigale in February 2025. At La Boule Noire, she unfolds this bridge between indie and tradition, carried by her voice and the textures of the yatga.
