Oxmo Puccino

Oxmo Puccino will be performing on May 22, 2026 at Le Plan in Ris-Orangis. A rapper and songwriter born in Mali and raised in Paris, he forged his signature in the 1990s as part of the Time Bomb collective, alongside Pit Baccardi. His collaborations with Booba and DJ Kheops preceded his first album, Opéra Puccino, which established a taste for precise language and tightly structured storytelling. He followed with L’amour est mort, then opened rap to jazz and blues on Lipopette Bar, a project conceived with the Jazzbastards for the Blue Note label. With Roi sans carrosse he blends guitars and hip‑hop rhythms, demonstrating a fluid writing style always attentive to textures and to stories.

On stage, Oxmo moves through these periods with a measured flow and meticulously precise diction, linking signature tracks and more recent material. Between storytelling, striking imagery and an eye for detail, the concert puts language at the forefront, supported by music that ranges from subdued groove to more urgent pulses.
