Info
On February 29, 2028, MC Solaar lays down his rhymes at the Accor Arena in Paris for an anniversary concert that spans four decades of French rap. From his early steps within Radio Nova's orbit to the records that established his style, he has brought into hip-hop a narrative writing, striking imagery, and razor-sharp wordplay, without ever losing the groove. On stage, one encounters that calm, assured flow, that recognizable voice, and that taste for refrains that stay in the mind, between muffled loops, jazzy bursts and soul in the background. From 'Bouge de là' to the great classics of Prose Combat or Paradisiaque, the evening promises a broad arc, conceived as a living retrospective rather than a simple best of. An appointment to measure how his lyrics have changed the way of telling stories and rapping, and to hear how he continues to move forward, with new material on the horizon.
