Info

Revealed in 2007, Julien Doré has carved out a distinctive place in French pop with writing that mixes sweetness, irony and melancholy, and with a generous stage presence. A singer-songwriter, he piles up choruses that stick in the mind and has moved through the years without losing his attention to detail. Five Victoires de la Musique mark his career, as do songs that have become touchstones for a wide audience: Paris-Seychelles, Coco Câline, Les limites, Le lac, as well as Nous and La fièvre. Across his albums he alternates confessions and pop pulsations, between luminous arrangements and more experimental touches.

On May 1, 2026 at the Théâtre Capitole in Québec, he will present a live show cut for the stage, where the hits will cross paths with more recent tracks and more intimate surprises. After hundreds of concerts in France and beyond — from Canada to Japan via Germany — Julien Doré returns here with a set designed to make the venue vibrate, carried by a voice recognizable from the first word and a sense of rhythm that naturally invites movement. It’s an opportunity to rediscover his pop universe, elegant and direct, in a live setting.
