Honeymoon Suite

Honeymoon Suite will be at the Théâtre Capitole on March 8, 2026. Formed in Niagara Falls in the early 1980s, the band made its mark on the Canadian pop-rock scene with a blend of melodic hard rock, AOR influences and FM-friendly choruses. Centered on singer Johnnie Dee and guitarist Derry Grehan, and rounded out by Peter Nunn, Gary Lalonde and Dave Betts, the group broke through in 1983 with “New Girl Now,” then followed with the albums Honeymoon Suite (1984), The Big Prize (1985) and Racing After Midnight (1988).

On the bill are the songs that built their reputation — from “Feel It Again” to “Stay in the Light,” including “New Girl Now” and “Burning in Love” — as well as their film appearances in One Crazy Summer and Lethal Weapon. Still active, Honeymoon Suite continues to tour with a sound defined by crisp guitars, keyboards and vocal harmonies.
