Info
Garou returns solo, without artifice, for a musical tête-à-tête with his deep voice and his guitars. Revealed by the role of Quasimodo in Notre‑Dame de Paris, the Québécois singer has forged a path between francophone chanson, soul and blues, with songs that marked the 2000s. Think of Seul, Sous le vent, Gitan, but also his excursions in English. This stripped-down format allows him to revisit his repertoire close to the lyrics and melodies, to alternate onstage confidences and rearranged versions, and to open brief parenthetical detours into the covers that accompany him on the road.
On 18 December 2026 at the Aula Magna Ottignies‑Louvain‑la‑Neuve, he unfolds a journey that spans his beginnings to recent titles, embracing that blend of pop, blues and chanson that defines his imprint. Without a band behind him, each song gains in relief, between velvety subtleties and rougher climaxes. Those who knew him via Notre‑Dame, his duets or TV appearances will rediscover here the performer and the songwriter, in a direct, concentrated form. An evening to hear songs you think you know differently, and to appreciate what his voice conveys when it is alone at the helm.
