DO not DO

DO not DO celebrates the release of their first EP on 12 March 2026 at Théâtre l’Archipel in Paris. Formed by Romy and Iskander, the duo moves between rock guitars and retro synths, driven by electro rhythms that structure songs in a direct, no-frills format. Opposed yet complementary, the two musicians confront their obsessions: one leans toward synthetic textures and drum machines, the other toward rock impulses and cutting guitars. From this friction emerges a pop-rock-electro sound—groovy without excess, sometimes darker, always precise.

The lyrics, generational without slogans, speak of speed, doubts and desires, capturing the times without posturing. Analog pads, taut riffs, square pulses: each track seeks the balance between tension and melody. On stage, the material gains depth, contrasts are embraced, and the energy flows without becoming overloaded. The release party is conceived as a first chapter, a way to enter DO not DO’s universe and to test the duo’s complementarity in a live setting.
