Soviet Suprem celebrates ten years of dancefloor revolution and is back on the road with a new EP. On stage, the duo John Lénine and Sylvester Staline assemble Balkan beats, offbeat chanson and Gogol-esque hip‑hop, blending sounds in a whirlwind world tour from Vladiwoodstock to Bogotá. The project champions the art of détournement (subversive appropriation) and choral energy: chanted refrains, canon-like choirs and reworked slogans meant to symbolically tear down borders and get the crowd singing. Between satire and straight-ahead groove, the group rekindles its great Internationale in club form and offers peaceful anthems to be sung in unison.
Catch Soviet Suprem on 25 April 2026 at La Rotonde Châteaurenard. Ten years after their first forays, the duo returns to basics to continue its fight against withdrawal and gloom, with new tracks and classics designed to reignite the collective trance.
