Didier Barbelivien

Info

On March 20, 2026, at the Palais de la Musique et des Congrès in Strasbourg, Didier Barbelivien returns to the stage with a repertoire spanning four decades of songwriting and well‑rooted choruses. A songwriter for a generation of performers, he performs the songs he wrote for Gérard Lenorman ("Michèle"), Éric Charden ("L’été s’ra chaud"), Philippe Lavil ("Il tape sur des bambous"), Gilbert Montagné ("On va s’aimer," "Les sunlights des tropiques"), Patricia Kaas ("Mademoiselle chante le blues," "Mon mec à moi") and David et Jonathan ("Est-ce que tu viens pour les vacances ?"). He also crosses paths with Christophe ("Petite fille du soleil"), Johnny Hallyday ("Elle m’oublie"), Demis Roussos ("Quand je t’aime"), Michel Delpech ("J’étais un ange"), Michel Sardou and Garou ("La rivière de notre enfance"), and Hervé Vilard ("Méditerranéenne"). And, of course, his own songs—from "Elle" to "Elsa," including "À toutes les filles" and "Les mariés de Vendée." It is an opportunity to rediscover the pen behind so many familiar refrains, carried by his voice and arrangements conceived for the stage.
