Info

Eiffel, a French rock band founded by Romain Humeau, arrives at The Black Lab Wasquehal on March 26, 2026. Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, Humeau has carried the project across twelve albums in which the song remains central, even as textures and forms shift. Outside conventional codes, Eiffel explores a variable-geometry rock, capable of changing its skin without losing the melodic thread.

The band claims a broad spectrum, nourished by the art-rock of Bowie, the Pixies, Lennon–McCartney, XTC and Talking Heads, but also by Bach and Brel, currents of rap and electro, Beck, Vian, Coltrane, Depeche Mode, as well as Latin American, baroque and romantic influences. This palette runs through a dense discography, where the arrangements engage with finely crafted lyrics.

On stage, Eiffel has played nearly a thousand concerts in France, Belgium, Quebec and Switzerland, with a loyal fan base, the Ahuris. At the Black Lab, one finds that blend of exacting songwriting and electric tension that is the band’s trademark, between direct energy and a sensitivity to nuance.
