Les Négresses Vertes + Invité

Les Négresses Vertes return to the stage on April 11, 2026 at the Zinga Zanga Béziers, with a guest. Born in Paris in 1987, the band has carved out a path between acoustic rock, realist French chanson and Mediterranean influences, with a live energy that has brought people together since the beginning. Emerging from the punk movement, they fashioned a distinctive sound of crisp riffs, brass and choruses sung in unison.

Their first album, Mlah, in 1988 opened doors beyond France. From 1989, remixes placed them on the British charts. They were followed by Famille Nombreuse in 1991, Zigzague in 1995 and Trabendo in 1999, while the band toured internationally until 2001. Reformed in 2018, they embarked on a long tour—more than 350 dates up to December 2024—and continue to bring their songs to the place they suit best: the stage. In Béziers, one finds that same blend of Latin rhythms, festive drive and lyrics rooted in reality that has marked their trajectory.
