Info
The Lightning Seeds bring their Liverpool-born pop-rock songwriting to Bristol on December 11, 2027, at O2 Academy Bristol. Built around Ian Broudie’s sharp sense of melody and producer’s ear, the project started as a near-solo studio venture before growing into a full live band, without losing that clean, polished punch.
Expect a set that moves through their 90s run of indie-pop and Britpop-leaning classics, with bright guitars, tight arrangements, and choruses made to stick. From early favourites like The Life of Riley and Change to later cuts that kept the sound crisp and direct, the show is all about well-crafted songs delivered with the energy of a band that knows how to fill a room.
And yes, there’s a good chance the night tips its hat to their wider cultural footprint too, from chart-ready pop moments to the era-defining Three Lions connection—always in service of melody first, hooks second, and a proper singalong whenever it lands.
