Join us in Paris at the Grand Rex on March 24, 2027, for a concert that brings face to face two major voices of West African music, and all they have learned as they traverse pop, jazz, traditions and international stages.
Angélique Kidjo, born in Ouidah, has built a style in which Beninese poly-rhythms intersect Afro-pop, soul, and Afro-Latin nods, with a voice that moves from Fon and Yoruba to French and English. In parallel, Youssou N’Dour, a figure from Dakar, carries mbalax and its sabar rhythms, between Wolof and Sérère heritages, and openings toward rumba, pop, or jazz.
On stage, the aim is not to string together hits: it is to perform their most expressive songs, to respond to one another, to blend languages and pulses, and to let the chemistry do the rest.
