On 10 October 2026 at Indigo at The O2, London, Roachford and Hue and Cry share the stage for a night rooted in British soul-pop.
Roachford is the project led by London-born singer and keyboardist Andrew Roachford, a rock-soul outfit built around his voice, keys and a lean band dynamic. The songs hinge on choruses, groove and unfussy arrangements, bridging British pop rock, contemporary R&B and classic soul. From the self-titled debut (1988) through Get Ready! (1991), Permanent Shade of Blue (1994) and Feel (1997), then Heart of the Matter, Word of Mouth, Twice in a Lifetime (2020) and Then and Now (2023), he has kept that blend alive on record and on stage. He has also taken a lead role with Mike + The Mechanics and recorded with Beverley Knight.
Formed in 1983 by brothers Pat and Greg Kane, Scottish duo Hue and Cry tap blue-eyed soul, sophisti-pop and a taste for jazz. Early albums Seduced and Abandoned (1987) and Remote (1988) set the tone before the 90s widened the palette with Stars Crash Down, Truth and Love and Showtime!, followed by jazz-leaning projects like Jazz Not Jazz and Next Move. In recent years they’ve alternated piano-voice sets and full-band shows, adding Open Soul (2008), Hot Wire (2012), Pocketful of Stones (2017) and Hue And Cry 40 (2024) to their catalogue.
