Info
On 28 June 2026 at the Zénith de Caen, Hugues Aufray takes to the road again and returns to the stage with that mix of French folk and popular songs that have accompanied several generations. With a guitar in hand and a clear, direct voice, he unfurls a repertoire shaped over more than sixty years, spanning ballads, catchy choruses and that simple way of telling stories that is his trademark.
On the bill is a collection of songs that have become touchstones: Santiano, Céline, Adieu monsieur le professeur, Le petit âne gris, L’Épervier, Stewball… These songs are shared and sung along to, and Aufray presents them with the restraint that has allowed them to stand the test of time. True to the spirit of the transatlantic roads that nourished his journey, he also slips in nods to Bob Dylan, several of whose songs he popularized in French. The concert is conceived as a stroll through his classics—between folk, memories and covers—so audiences can rediscover up close this songbook that continues to live on stage, without frills and intimately connected to the public.
