Popular upcoming events in Leicester

Over the coming months, Leicester and the wider area will host some of the better-known names on the live calendar, especially if you are looking for concerts in Leicester, clubbing in Leicester, and other events in Leicester. At De Montfort Hall, Steve Hackett arrives in October with Best of Genesis & Solo Gems, drawing a line between his Genesis years and his solo catalogue. Also in October, Beth Orton plays Rescue Rooms, bringing a set shaped by folk songwriting, electronic textures, and a restrained, intimate feel. For something more direct, Codefendants take over The Palais with their mix of punk, alternative hip hop, and shadowy pop melodies. Outside Leicester but still part of the regional live picture, The Long Ryders play Metronome, while The Cinelli Brothers and The Howlers appear in Nottingham with different guitar-led styles. You can also catch Basht: Signing and Pet Needs, adding more live dates to the autumn programme.
