Fulminacci

Under the name Fulminacci, Filippo Uttinacci has been developing from Rome a songwriting voice that sits between indie pop, acoustic pop and light rock, marked by everyday storytelling, well-drawn characters and often direct diction. Born in 1997 in the Italian capital, Fulminacci began releasing his first tracks in 2019 on the Maciste Dischi label, ahead of that year’s album La vita veramente. This debut, which established his blend of accessible melodies and social or intimate observation, announced his arrival on the Italian scene and won the Targa Tenco for best debut album. After a run of festivals and concerts across Italy, Fulminacci broadened his audience by taking part in the Sanremo Festival 2021 with Santa Marinella, a song included on Tante care cose (2021), where his writing gained breadth while remaining rooted in song-based pop — tense without being showy. In 2023 he released Infinito +1, a third album that extends this line with a more open production and several collaborations; he has also appeared alongside artists such as Willie Peyote, Gazzelle and Daniele Silvestri, and writes for other performers, notably Ci pensiamo domani for Angelina Mango.
