Lexi Jayde
Born in Los Angeles, California, Lexi Jayde developed an artistic activity very early on, between acting, musical theatre and songwriting, before more clearly steering her path toward pop. Under her full name Alexis Jayde Burnett, she first appears on screen in several films and series, including Crown Lake between 2019 and 2020, while launching her musical career at the turn of the 2020s. Lexi Jayde releases her first single, 'If I Really Love You', in 2020, then refines a writing style focused on relationships, adolescence and the transition to adulthood in melodic pop with intimate tones, between contemporary ballads, light production and directly constructed choruses. Her first EP, A Teenage Diary, releases in 2021 with notably 'Newbury Park', followed by Closer to Closure in 2022, propelled by 'Drunk Text Me', a track widely shared on TikTok. Her universe remains tied to confessional and accessible pop, nourished by mainstream influences and autobiographical writing. Lexi Jayde thus evolves at the crossroads of the current American pop scene, singer-songwriter writing and a career built both in music and image.
