Between You & Me

Formed in Melbourne around singer Jake Wilson, Between You & Me began as acoustic songs and covers Wilson posted online before becoming a band with guitarists Jai Gibson and Chris Bowerman, drummer Jamey Bowerman and bassist James Karagiozis. The band operates in melodic pop punk, between emo-pop and alternative rock, with straightforward choruses, clean guitar tones and lyrics focused on relationships, anxiety and coming of age. After the Paper Thin EP in 2016 they signed to Hopeless Records and released Everything Is Temporary in 2018 and Armageddon in 2021. The group has since toured Australian, UK and US stages, supporting Tonight Alive, The Maine, Neck Deep, ROAM, Like Pacific and WSTR, and appeared at the Slam Dunk festival. Across their releases Between You & Me has broadened its pop-punk approach toward more power-pop–oriented songwriting while retaining a melodic, urgent core.
