Delilah Bon

Under the name Delilah Bon, Lauren Tate has been developing a solo project since 2020 that originated in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, England, after several years as the singer and guitarist of the alternative rock band Hands Off Gretel, formed in 2015. Delilah Bon sits at the intersection of riot grrrl, rap, punk, rapcore and nu metal, featuring direct lyrics, abrasive hip‑hop rhythms, heavy guitars and a delivery that alternates between rap, melodic singing and screams. Initially self‑released, the project took shape with the single "Devil" in 2020 and the album "Delilah Bon" in 2021. The second album, "Evil, Hate Filled Female," was released in 2024, followed by the EP "Princeless Princess" in 2025. Delilah Bon’s songs confront sexism, violence against women, the patriarchy and power relations head‑on, in an aesthetic that blends punk energy with references to 2000s hip‑hop. Alongside the British alternative scene, Delilah Bon also appeared in France on Le Late with Alain Chabat in 2022 and on Taratata in 2023, where she performed "War on Women" with Shaka Ponk.
