VIAL
Formed in Minneapolis in 2019, VIAL is part of Minnesota's DIY punk scene as a trio with vocals shared between KT Branscom, Katie Fischer and Taylor Kraemer, giving their songs a collective, upfront energy. The band develops a sound that blends punk rock, pop-punk, indie rock and grunge touches, with direct guitars, tight rhythms and melodic choruses while retaining an abrasive approach. VIAL first attracted attention with the EP Grow Up in 2019, before releasing Loudmouth in 2021, a debut album that establishes the foundations of their writing between tension, dry humor and observations of everyday life. After Grey Kanfield's departure in 2022, VIAL continued to evolve with the EP Ur dad in 2023 and the album burnout in 2024, where the production remains nervy while allowing more room for melodic nuance. In 2024 VIAL re-recorded their first EP under the title Grow the Fuck Up and followed up with Hellhound in 2026, extending a trajectory rooted in American punk and alternative circuits.
