Q Marsden

Born in Florida under the name Q Marsden, the American artist develops a pop-soul with R&B contours, nourished by plush keyboards, smooth melodic lines, and introspective writing. Self-taught, Q Marsden learns several instruments on his own, including piano, guitar, bass, and drums, and early on builds a working method centered on composition, performance, and production. His project takes shape at the turn of the 2020s with The Shave Experiment EP in 2020, followed by the album Soul,PRESENT in 2023, where a universe is drawn that is both intimate and expansive, between contemporary soul, alternative pop, and textures inspired by an analog aesthetic.
