AVRALIZE
AVRALIZE took shape in Rottweil in southern Germany, around a core formed during the 2010s, and adopted the name AVRALIZE in 2023 after an initial period as Silent Fox. The four-piece operates in modern metalcore, where massive riffs, vocals that alternate between melodic lines and harsher passages, and electronic textures coexist without weighing the sound down. The story begins with the meeting of singer Severin Sailer and drummer Bastian Gölz, later joined by guitarist Philipp Tenberken and bassist Valentin Noack. Before the name change the group won the SchoolJam contest in 2020 and played festivals such as Hurricane and Southside, marking a shift from a local framework to wider exposure on the German alternative scene. As AVRALIZE, the band signed to Arising Empire in early 2024 and released Freaks the same year, a debut album produced by Manuel Renner that asserts a taut, direct and melodic sound. AVRALIZE continued on this trajectory with Liminal in 2025, maintaining an aesthetic centred on contemporary metalcore open to electronic elements.
