Between Vierzon and the Paris suburbs, Josman shapes a French-language rap where melodic trap, cloud-rap influences, and boom bap heritage intertwine, with a strong emphasis on atmospheric textures and sung lines. Born in 1992 in Vierzon to parents from Angola and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, he began to garner attention in the mid-2010s with a series of videos and tracks released online, before asserting his world on EPs such as Matrix and 000$. The album J.O.$, released in 2018, marks a pivotal moment in his trajectory, where he unfolds a highly personal palette—everyday narratives, identity questions, ambition, and doubt—often over productions he co-signs with beatmaker Eazy Dew.
