Blessd

Born in Medellín, Colombia, Stiven Mesa Londoño, performing under the name Blessd, develops urban music anchored in Latin reggaeton, trap and forms of melodic rap nourished by the Paisa scene. Emerged at the turn of the 2020s, his trajectory is part of Medellín's international rise as a major hub for Spanish-language urban music. Blessd circulates in his tracks a direct register, between street narratives, sentimental refrains and productions designed for clubs as well as for broad public listening. Among the titles that accompanied his breakout are 'Medallo', shared with Justin Quiles and Lenny Tavárez in 2021, then 'Tendencia Global' the same year, with Myke Towers and Ovy On The Drums, an important collaborator in his career. Blessd then releases the album Hecho en Medellín in 2021, followed by Siempre Blessd in 2022, which extend this mix of reggaeton, latin trap and more pop melodies. His regular presence on Latin American stages and in urban festival circuits accompanies a career built through frequent collaborations, without leaving the sonic identity tied to Medellín. Blessd has established himself in a few years as one of the most visible names of this new Colombian generation, with simple, straightforward writing and a strong attachment to the codes of the genre.
