Roza Terenzi

Under the alias Roza Terenzi, Australian producer and DJ Katie Campbell has since the latter half of the 2010s been developing club electronics with flexible contours, blending breaks, techno, trance and house, with a pronounced taste for bouncy rhythms and euphoric textures. Born in Perth and based in Melbourne from 2017, Roza Terenzi first released music under the name Catlips, with the EP Casual in 2015, before adopting this new project in 2016, and later launching the alias Gloworm. Her first singles under Roza Terenzi, including The O.G. EP in 2017 and Weakest Link in 2018, laid the foundations for a mobile sound, located between rave heritage, bass music and more airy melodic lines. In 2020, Roza Terenzi released the album Modern Bliss, which further broadened this palette by steering it toward a more constructed listening format while preserving the energy of the dancefloor. The rest of her career has also included collaborations, notably Third Nature with jd in 2022 and then the album Edge Of Innocence, released that same year with D. Tiffany. Active on club and festival stages in Australia as well as internationally, Roza Terenzi is part of a generation of artists who connect DJ culture, electronic production and contemporary rave forms without limiting themselves to a single register.
