Formed in Winnipeg, Manitoba, in the wake of the Canadian roots scene, The Bros. Landreth bring brothers Joey and Dave Landreth together around a blend of American rock, country and blues with contemporary touches. After several years as touring musicians for other artists, they released their debut album Let It Lie in 2013, which placed The Bros. Landreth on the roots and americana circuits in North America and later in Europe. The band followed with the covers EP Undercover Bros in 2017, then with 87 in 2019, where the songwriting became more introspective while retaining the slide guitars and vocal harmonies that define their sound. In 2022, the album Come Morning emphasized gentler moods and pop‑adjacent textures while remaining rooted in a songwriting tradition between folk, soul and country. Regularly touring Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom, The Bros. Landreth alternate between electric quartet lineups and more stripped‑back formats; their repertoire reached beyond the roots scene when the song Made Up Mind was covered in 2022 by Bonnie Raitt, further widening the reach of the project led by Joey and Dave Landreth.
