Sinsaenum
Formed in 2016 around a Franco-international core, Sinsaenum took shape from compositions written as early as the late 1990s by Frédéric Leclercq. The project later added Stéphane Buriez and then Joey Jordison, whose involvement marked the band’s early days. The lineup also features the voices of Attila Csihar and Sean Zatorsky in a two-vocalist setup that combines guttural death metal, black metal accents and heavier passages, with Heimoth on bass. Since 2025 the drums have been handled by André Joyzi, following Jordison’s death in 2021. From Echoes of the Tortured (2016) Sinsaenum established a dense, aggressive sound built on fast riffs, a dark atmosphere and songwriting that blends death brutality with black metal bleakness. With Repulsion for Humanity (2018) they evolved this foundation toward a heavier approach that introduces groove and nu‑metal elements. Active on European metal stages, Sinsaenum sits at the crossroads of influences from death, black and contemporary extreme metal. Their third album, In Devastation, is announced for 2025.
