Sinéad Harnett

Born in London and raised in Finchley, in the north of the British capital, Sinéad Harnett has since the early 2010s developed a writing style situated between contemporary R&B, soul, electronic pop and touches of dance. First spotted in 2011 on Wiley's track 'Walk Away', Harnett later found a wider audience with Disclosure on 'Boiling' in 2012, before linking up with Rudimental, Ryan Hemsworth, Snakehips or Gryffin, in a register where melodic precision matters as much as the plush textures and the supple rhythms. Her first single, 'Got Me', appeared in 2013, followed by the N.O.W EP in 2014 and the Sinéad Harnett EP in 2016, which establish a personal, direct yet nuanced style. After the Chapter One mixtape in 2017, Harnett released the albums Lessons in Love in 2019, Ready Is Always Too Late in 2021 and Boundaries in 2024. Her tracks often move on elegant productions, between discreet groove, introspective choruses and singing that is both restrained and expressive, which places Sinéad Harnett in both R&B circuits and on stages open to pop and electronic music.
