Sabrina Claudio

Raised in Miami in a Cuban and Puerto Rican family, Sabrina Claudio developed an early interest in R&B and contemporary soul before attracting attention in the mid-2010s through covers and initial tracks posted online. Later based in Los Angeles, she refined a slow-tempo alternative R&B style characterized by a hushed voice, minimalist arrangements and songwriting focused on intimacy, desire and vulnerability. The EP Confidently Lost (2017) and the mixtape About Time (2017) established her name on the American R&B scene, followed by the albums No Rain, No Flowers (2018) and Truth Is (2019), which extended this atmospheric aesthetic between soul, pop and subtle electronic touches. Sabrina Claudio then explored a seasonal register with Christmas Blues (2020), before returning to a more conventional studio format with Based on a Feeling (2022). Her collaborations, notably with 6LACK and ZAYN, place her within a network of contemporary R&B and pop artists with similar sonic sensibilities, while her tours across North America and Europe maintain a direct link with audiences drawn to understated, voice-centred performances.
