Sinclair

Sinclair is a French singer, songwriter and guitarist, an iconic figure on the French funk scene since the 1990s. Born into a family of musicians, he developed an early passion for laid-back grooves, catchy bass lines and sophisticated harmonies. From his debut album Que justice soit faite he established a distinctive sound—somewhere between funk, soul and pop—driven by sunny energy and a voice that’s instantly recognizable. Tracks like "Si c’est bon comme ça", "Ensemble" and "Supernova" helped make him one of the architects of funk’s revival in France. A multi-instrumentalist and seasoned producer, he also composes for other artists and for film, while cultivating an image of a free-spirited perfectionist. On stage Sinclair gives powerful, generous performances where his sense of rhythm and communal spirit are fully expressed. After several decades of career he remains a benchmark of French groove, blending musical sophistication with instinctive enjoyment.
