Born in South Bend, Indiana, October London crafts an R&B rooted in classic soul, strongly influenced by the 1970s while keeping a contemporary sensibility. Later based on the West Coast, he came to attention in the mid-2010s with a series of EPs titled Color Blind, which established a sound built on melodic ballads, introspective songwriting and slow, slow-jam-like atmospheres.
