Mark Dekoda

Born in 1987 in Munich as Marko Meingast, Mark Dekoda began producing at the end of 2006 in a register between underground progressive trance and club electronic music, before shifting his work toward minimal techno in 2009. This transition left a lasting mark on his career; his discography was subsequently built through EPs, singles and remixes rather than albums, with a writing approach focused on progression, rhythmic tension and structures conceived for the dancefloor. His aesthetic combines a crisp techno foundation, minimal elements and a sense of development inherited from his progressive beginnings, giving his productions a balance between immediate impact and stepwise construction. Alongside his studio work, Mark Dekoda developed a regular DJ presence on the German and later international electronic scenes, in club and festival contexts where he extends this approach — rhythmic precision, sustained energy and formats designed for mixing.
