il:lo
Between Berlin and the south of France, il:lo brings together producers Dejan Dejado and Andreas Schütz, an electronic duo formed more than ten years ago in Prague around a shared taste for slow tempos and cinematic atmospheres. il:lo develops remotely: each member composes independently and then exchanges sketches that gradually turn into finished tracks, giving their discography a carefully constructed, evolving aesthetic. Rooted in a downtempo/electronica register that blends deep rhythms, airy pads and repetitive melodic motifs, il:lo seeks a balance between organic textures and pulses close to deep house. After several digital releases, the duo issued Sloh in 2019, then tightened its ties to the melodic electronic scene with the EP Meliadi in 2021 on Anjunadeep, marking a shift toward a more club-oriented sound. The recent EPs Myriad and The Fair extend this evolution by emphasizing the danceable dimension without abandoning the atmospheric sensibility that defines il:lo. On stage, the project fits into the network of European tours, notably supporting Parra for Cuva, Christian Löffler and CloZee, which places il:lo within a landscape where contemplative electronic music and more direct live formats intersect. The duo is currently working on a debut album announced for 2026, conceived as a synthesis of these different facets and of il:lo’s geographical and musical journey.
