Gammer

Under the name Gammer, this British producer and DJ first made his mark on the UK hardcore scene in the early 2000s with a fast, melodic and upfront sound shaped as much by happy hardcore as by the harder codes of the English rave. Gammer built his career through solo productions and frequent collaborations with scene figures such as Dougal and Darren Styles, while remaining highly visible on the club and festival circuits for electronic music. From the 2010s he significantly broadened his sonic palette by incorporating elements of dubstep, trap and EDM, without abandoning the direct energy that characterizes his sets and productions. This evolution is reflected in releases on labels like Monstercat and in the 2018 track “The Drop,” which reached beyond the hardcore audience. Between British rave culture and more recent bass‑music formats, Gammer maintains a writing style focused on rhythmic impact, clear build‑ups and decisive breaks, which explains his distinctive position at the crossroads of several electronic currents.
