Hocico
Formed in Mexico in 1993 by cousins Erk Aicrag and Racso Agroyam, Hocico continues the trajectory of their early teenage projects and grew into one of the Mexican names most associated with electro‑industrial and aggrotech. The duo produces hard, fast and confrontational music, informed by EBM, industrial textures and tense electronic rhythms, with lyrics in both Spanish and English. After several demos in the mid‑1990s, Hocico released Odio Bajo El Alma in 1997 and Sangre Hirviente in 1999, around the time the group began appearing on European stages, notably at specialized festivals in Germany, Belgium and France. Their discography expanded with Signos de Aberración (2002), Wrack and Ruin (2004), Memorias Atrás (2008), Tiempos de Furia (2010), El Ultimo Minuto (2012), Ofensor (2015), The Spell of the Spider (2017), Artificial Extinction (2019) and Hyperviolent (2022). Over the years Hocico has maintained an active live presence—playing dark electro clubs, industrial festivals and larger events—while its members have also pursued side projects such as Rabia Sorda (Erk Aicrag) and Dulce Liquido (Racso Agroyam).
