Dopelord

Formed in Lublin, Poland, Dopelord operates within a doom metal register informed by stoner rock, slow sludge and dark psychedelia, crafting songs built on massive riffs, stretched tempos and imagery steeped in occultism and cannabis culture. The band launched its discography with Magick Rites in 2012, then refined its approach with Black Arts, Riff Worship & Weed Cult in 2014, where the songwriting gained density while retaining a strong heavy rock foundation. With Children of the Haze in 2017, the Polish group pushed further into longer formats and thick atmospheres, blending hypnotic repetition, deep vocals and doom heaviness. Sign of the Devil arrived in 2020 and confirmed an evolution toward more readable structures without abandoning abrasive textures or the occult references that have threaded the project since its beginnings. In 2023 Dopelord released Songs for Satan, continuing a trajectory rooted in the European stoner and doom scenes that the band regularly tours.
