Eptic

Michael Bella has released music under the name Eptic since the early 2010s, first within the Belgian electronic scene and later more broadly across European and North American bass music circuits. Early influences of rock, metal and drum and bass led Eptic to develop a style focused on nervous, tightly structured dubstep, featuring dense basslines, crisp rhythms and arrangements designed for both clubs and large-scale live shows. The name Eptic began to circulate widely with 'Like a Boss' in 2012, and his discography took shape with releases such as Doom (2014), Flesh & Blood (2016), Overlord (2018) and The End (2021). While remaining rooted in the dubstep axis that brought him to prominence, Eptic has also expanded into a more hybrid bass music approach and into more direct EDM productions, notably through collaborations with DJ Snake, Dillon Francis and Jauz. He remains associated with a tense, fast and percussive sonic aesthetic that regularly appears on international electronic stages.
