HabibiSly

HabibiSly, alias Sylvain Rabbath, has been developing in Paris a music located between disco, electronic pop and Middle Eastern influences, with a marked taste for crossings of dancing rhythms, Oriental melodic lines and nocturnal arrangements. Nourished by a family environment linked to the music of the Near East, he develops his work in the 18th arrondissement of Paris and builds a personal universe that he describes through an electro‑oriental aesthetic. Composer, performer and producer, HabibiSly first led a long journey alongside the double bassist François Rabbath, with whom he toured for more than twenty‑five years, before developing his own projects and founding his production structure Museum Studio and Museum Records. Along this path, HabibiSly has also collaborated with artists from varied scenes such as -M-, Keziah Jones, Barbara Butch, Corine or Head on TV. In 2025, his project takes a collective form with HabibySly, a group bringing together Tristan Camus, Aurélien Fadagrada and the Syrian‑origin singer Samara Naser, which extends this search between stage energy, electronic textures and Oriental heritage.
