Clarion

Born in the east of Los Angeles around Anthony Sanchez, Saya Oliva and Joseph, Clarion takes shape at the end of 2023, when its members, drawn from the local DIY scene, begin writing together almost by accident during a period spent in a closed environment. The band then records its first songs in a tight format, with a production approach that seeks to densify the guitar sound and blend hazy textures, post-punk tension and references to Japanese rock. This base becomes the EP Clarion, the project's first discographic landmark, where an aesthetics between melodic shoegaze, nervous rhythms and emotionally contoured vocals assert themselves. Clarion circulates first in Los Angeles' indie networks before quickly widening its audience thanks to the track Hello Juliet, which highlights direct writing and a taste for choruses enveloped in saturation. In 2025, the group signs with Broke Records and continues its development live, notably alongside Violent Vira, Rehash, Mexican Slum Rats, Mind's Eye and Panchiko, while Javier Flores joins the live lineup on drums. Between DIY concerts, tour dates and new releases, Clarion continues to build a compact, immersive and frontal sound, confirmed by several singles and then by the EP Blue Fairy.
