Bebetta

Born in Bremen as Anika Schnabel, Bebetta has developed since the late 2000s a career as a DJ and producer situated between house and melodic techno, with a light, colorful and often playful approach both in textures and in the visual imagination. She began DJing in 2008, spent time in Trier before settling in Berlin in 2014, and has released music on labels such as Damm Rec, Monaberry, Get Physical, Stil vor Talent, 3000 Grad and Ritter Butzke Records. Her discography is built mainly from EPs and singles, including Herr Kapellmeister (2012), Raver 4 Life (2018), All of Us with Hidden Empire (2021), Volcano Trip (2023), followed by Don’t Be Sad and Stumbling Stone (2024), and House Of Yes (2025) on her own label Eating People, founded in 2020. On that label she extends an artistic identity where the music engages in dialogue with handcrafted visual work, notably on vinyl sleeves. On stage, Bebetta appears in both clubs and festivals, with notable sets at Fusion, Airbeat One, Feel Festival and Ikarus.
