Nine Vicious
Born in Athens, Georgia, Treyvion Deronta Echols records under the name Nine Vicious, producing American rap tied to the SoundCloud scene—between melodic trap, flexible vocal lines and tense atmospheres. Nine Vicious began releasing consistently in 2024 and gained initial online visibility with the tracks “I Love You” and “Ill Nva,” before issuing several shorter formats and the mixtape Studio Addict on December 13, 2024. Available biographical sources link him to the YSL Records ecosystem, while his trajectory is primarily rooted in the circuits of digital rap and frequent releases. In 2025 Nine Vicious followed with the album Tumblr Music, released March 31, the EP B4FN on June 6, and the album For Nothing on July 4. His writing remains concise, featuring brief songs, a mobile delivery and an aesthetic that blends urgency, melody and nervous energy. Regarding Studio Addict, Pitchfork compared Nine Vicious to the early work of Young Thug and Ken Carson, a reference that situates his output within a recent branch of American rap shaped by the internet underground.
