Born in the musical effervescence of Los Angeles, the trio LA LOM — The Los Angeles League of Musicians — embodies the city's cultural richness. Composed of Zac Sokolow, Jake Faulkner and Nicholas Baker, the group began in 2019 with residencies at the Roosevelt Hotel, gradually transforming their ambient sets into a vibrant, hybrid repertoire. Their music crosses borders: 1950s–60s soul, Mexican boleros, cumbias sonideras, psychedelic chicha and California country intertwine in subtle harmony. Anchored between Buenos Aires, Durango and Venice Beach, these three musicians weave a sincere, timeless body of work that reflects Los Angeles' musical melting pot.
